The latest iteration of Bvlgari Aeterna collection to celebrates 140 Years

The newest incarnation of the Aeterna collection, unveiled to coincide with the celebration of Bvlgari’s 140th anniversary, is infused with the brand enduring legacy and innovative spirit.
The Aeterna collection by Bvlgari is firmly rooted in the jeweller’s ancestral home: the eternal city of Rome. Underlining the Roman jeweller’s mastery in creating extraordinary works of art, the Aeterna family encompasses over 500 masterpieces, ranging from high jewellery to leather bags and exquisite fragrances.
As seen in Bvlgari’s newly-revealed Eternally Reborn campaign, the magnificent pieces from the Aeterna collection echoes the powerful sentiment of infinite rebirths, while showcasing a daring and confident spirit. The campaign stars Bvlgari ambassadors Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, and Liu Yifei, who proudly wear these pieces to represent a meaningful journey of self-elevation.
A definite highlight would be the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, which is quite literally the crown jewel of Aeterna. This brilliant necklace is bedecked with diamonds to symbolise eternity. A single 200-carat rough stone was expertly cut into seven flawless pear-shaped diamonds totalling 140 carats, representing Bvlgari’s 140th anniversary this year.
The necklace itself features a platinum structure that is adorned with 698 baguette diamonds weighing 61.81 carats. As its name suggests, it takes on the fluid shape of a serpent, with Bvlgari’s iconic snake head clasp added to signify eternal rebirth.
Another notable high jewellery piece is the Sapphire Aeterna Waves. The centrepiece of this necklace is a 38.93-carat cushion-cut Sri Lankan sapphire set amidst shimmering diamonds and sapphires. The necklace also comes with a detachable pendant, which showcases Bvlgari’s dedication to versatile and transformative designs.
A third necklace from the new Aeterna collection that calls for a closer look is the Sapphire Brocade. This exquisite piece combines sapphires, diamonds, and buff-top emeralds. In fact, it took Bvlgari two years to gather the gemstones used in this design. A set of matching earrings is also available.
Moving on, we come to the high-jewellery watches in the collection, as represented by the Fuochi D’Artificio High Jewellery Manchette. This piece stands out with a rose gold and blue titanium cuff depicting a night sky set against fireworks of colourful gemstones, diamonds, and onyxes. As testament to this jewellery watch’s immense complexity, it took Bvlgari’s artisans a total of 1,450 hours to complete this piece
.
Of course, the ballad of jewellery and leatherworks is a familiar dance for Bvlgari. The Aeterna Serpenti Pallini top handle bag in Midnight Plum Shiny Alligator underlines this medley of disciplines. Last but most definitely not least, there is the Aeterna Serpenti Fiamma highlighting Bvlgari’s high-end fragrances.
