Dior welcomes two enchanting chapters to its haute joaillerie collection. Dreamed up by Victoire de Castellane, these new additions present refined beauty and voluptuousness encapsulated within Dior’s signature codes. The first chapter of the line, titled Diorama, pays homage to the maison’s emblematic Toile de Jouy motif. Various forms of flora and fauna are brought to life with diamonds, sapphires, and rubies. The second story, Diorigami, portrays the flourishing greenery of an imaginary garden in the form of a necklace, a ring, and many elegant earrings, all meticulously crafted.
To mark its 150th anniversary, French maison Piaget unveiled a new iteration of its beloved Possession collection. The definite highlight from this new lineup is a five-piece ring collection, all drawing inspiration from the maison’s mastery of gold. The first three models incorporate a clutch of chain designs nestled harmoniously in a row, adorned with diamonds and finished with highly polished gadroon edges. The fourth ring is infused with a dazzling rainbow of sapphires, rubies, and tsavorites, offering a captivating gradation of gemstones. Last but not least is an engraved snake-scale motif ring that completes the five-jewel set. Its single spinning bands, meanwhile, are an ode to Piaget’s extraordinary engraving techniques.
Inspired by the spirit of French savoir-faire in the nineteenth century, Louis Vuitton released a high jewellery collection dubbed Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds. There are 220 unique masterpieces set across 13 different themes, making these creations the largest haute joaillerie collection by the maison to date. The first theme, the Awakened Hands, is imbued with the country’s rich history of artistry and skilled craftsmanship.
Each piece in the collection is handmade and evokes the flourishing ornaments and regal luxury that defined the era. Furthermore, the Awakened Minds embraces industrialisation, ushering us into a new stylised interpretation of graphic repetitions infused with interconnecting movement and balanced geometry, enlightened by Louis Vuitton’s key design codes and signatures.
Following the release of the Anagram collection, LOEWE presents new jewellery pieces adorned with colourful paved crystals for summer. Among these are the Flor earrings that are designed to represent the vibrant spirit of the season. The earrings are made in Italy using sterling silver and weigh less than 10 grams, and have been found to be the perfect accompaniment for pieces from the Paula’s Ibiza collection.
Nature Sauvage, Cartier’s new high jewellery collection, is a theatre of apparitions in which animals become the protagonists. Expressed in 3D shapes, the animals showcase themselves through five imaginative interpretations. A great case in point would be the Panthère Jaillissante. This ring-bracelet piece features a panther paved with diamonds and sapphires for its limbs and emerald for the eyes. And at the centre of the piece sits a 8.63-carat Zambian emerald.
