The dazzling Cartier to Boucheron Diamonds collection

Nothing can lessen the everlasting appeal of diamonds, which will still be the focal point of luxury jewelry collections in 2024 even if other gemstones come and go. 2024 will see diamonds shining brightly in high-end jewelry lines from Cartier to Boucheron.
The popularity of various gemstones waxes and wanes as trends come and go, but when it comes to timeless favourites, diamonds continue to rule them all. Here, we look at the diamonds that shine in the 2024’s high jewellery collections, from Cartier to Boucheron and more.
Just last month, social media personality Emma Chamberlain stole the spotlight at the Met Gala with this Renda white gold and diamond necklace from Cartier’s upcoming Nature Sauvage collection. Crafted with finesse, it wraps around the neck like a piece of fine lace.
The crowning glory of Chopard’s latest Contes des Fées – French for “fairy tales” – Red Carpet collection is a tiara that dazzles with a shower of stars and diamond droplets. The white-gold creation glitters with brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamonds weighing a total of 17.06 carats and 15.16 carats respectively. Perched atop the tiara, the fairy with mother-of-pearl wings can be detached and worn as a brooch.
Bvlgari marks its 140th anniversary with its Aeterna collection, headlined by a stunning diamond creation inspired by a snake, the animal most associated with the creator of the Serpenti motif. Featuring a sinuous frame in platinum, the Serpenti Aeterna necklace features seven D flawless pear diamond drops totaling 140 carats – all cut from a raw diamond of more than 200 carats. Complementing these ultra-clear stones are, well more diamonds: The wavy frame itself is covered with 698 baguette diamonds weighing 61.81 carats.
The Power of Couture collection is Boucheron creative director Claire Choisne’s glittering interpretation of ceremonial regalia. The Col necklace takes its cues from the rigid, high collar that is often part of a ceremonial costume. Its white gold frame bears 2,514 diamonds totaling 102.16 carats. The round elements at the top and bottom of the Col are diamond-paved and covered with rock crystals for a magnifying effect. The Col can be worn in its entirety, or separated into two elements – a choker and a necklace.
The lion, the spirit animal of Coco Chanel, whose astrological sign was Leo, once again makes its presence felt. Crafted in white gold and diamonds, this necklace from the Lion Solaire de Chanel high jewellery collection is a majestic symbol of pride and protection.
The Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste pays tribute to the cosmic-influenced creations of renowned Tiffany designer Jean Schlumberger. Inspired by Pegasus, the mythical flying horse, the Wings chapter of the collection includes this platinum and yellow necklace. At its centre is an internally flawless, D-colour oval diamond of over 20 carats, further accentuated by more than 75 carats of diamonds.
