The St. Regis Jakarta’s time-honoured mooncakes present an invitation to celebrate the upcoming mid-autumn festival in style
No mid-autumn festival celebration would feel complete without mooncakes. More than just a seasonal treat, the full moon-shaped delicacy symbolises completeness and familial unity, making them a meaningful tradition. And speaking of traditions surrounding the mid-autumn festival, The St. Regis Jakarta once again presents a series of moony delights for the long-awaited Moon Festival.
This year’s mooncakes by The St. Regis Jakarta come in seven sumptuous flavours. Of these, the White Lotus variant is the definite highlight of the line-up. Made using lotus seeds of the highest quality, the mooncake boasts a wonderful balance between sweet and nutty facets, complemented by a delicate texture that melts in the mouth. For a more unique flavour profile, the Jasmine Tea and Chestnuts variant melds floral and green aromas with creaminess. Matcha and Kumquat also comes highly recommended as a tantalising treat for citrus lovers. Other flavours include pandan, red bean, egg yolk custard, and black sesame.
To help patrons celebrate in style, the mooncakes are packed in a beautiful vanity box. Clad in woven leather, it is available in two colourways: blush pink and baby blue. The box is also equipped with a matching shoulder chain, dual compartments, and a special St. Regis bag tag, allowing one to transform it into a stylish accessory.
