Four enchanting places to stay beyond ordinary getaways

From the heart of Milan to the enigmatic charm of Indonesia, we introduce you to four exceptional destinations that extend an inviting hand to the perceptive traveler.
Reigning in the epicentre of Milan’s fashion district, Portrait Milano debuts as an urban oasis where hospitality meets style and history. Owned by the Ferragamo family, the hotel breathes new life into Milan’s former archepiscopal seminary. All 73 rooms and suites, designed by architect Michele Bönan, evoke a mid-century charm, featuring luxury furnishings and a Carrara marble bathroom that reflect Italian craftsmanship. Guests and gastronomes wishing to indulge in delectable offerings can head to two dining venues on the premises, including the first Beefbar in Italy
Welcoming peace seekers and holidaymakers since the first of August 2023, Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection Nepal is an all-inclusive luxury retreat at the foot of Upper Mustang, once the Forbidden Kingdom of Nepal. Designed by highly-acclaimed architect Bill Bensley, the highland sanctuary boasts 29 suites clad in harmony between the modern and the traditional, featuring an open-plan concept, an opulent bathroom, and full-height windows overlooking the Nilgiri Mountain. The Nilgiri Restaurant serves modern Nepalese cuisine and Western dishes, while the hotel’s wellness centre offers invigorating treatments.
“This is perhaps one of the most exciting projects we have ever had. I have never seen such wildly dramatic landscapes as the mountains and valleys of Mustang. I am thrilled that Shinta Mani can be the first to introduce this mystical land to international adventurers.”
BILL BENSLEY, Architect
