The dragon roars louder at AYANA Bali this year

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, the much-beloved integrated resort of AYANA Bali will present a myriad of fun events and exclusive promotions.
For centuries, the dragon has been regarded as a symbol of good fortune, imperial power, success, and nobility in Chinese culture. And this year, the majestic creature shines even brighter as the Year of the Dragon is just around the corner. To celebrate the fortuitous occasion, AYANA Bali has prepared a series of special events and promotions to be unveiled soon. Held across multiple destinations on the vast estate, this array of offerings serves as an invitation to celebrate the new year with loved ones while revelling in the joy of life.
Of course, a celebration would be incomplete without appropriately festive dishes. From February 5, 2024, guests at AYANA Bali will be able to embark on various epicurean adventures. For one, RIMBA by AYANA Bali’s To’Ge presents a special noodle menu throughout the Chinese New Year week. The dish, believed to symbolise longevity, is an integral gastronomic icon in many Chinese celebrations and will be served against the idyllic backdrop of lush gardens and koi ponds at the restaurant. At Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant, a family-style lunch service and special dinner menu await. Available from February 8 to 11, these special offers feature seasonal delights, including Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup or fotiaoqiang and Fortune Colourful Glutinous Rice Balls.
February 9 will be a festive Friday at AYANA Bali. Guests can head to the famous Rock Bar for the Dragon’s Roar: Chinese New Year Countdown event. Here, patrons can indulge in Mediterranean delights and a wide array of creative libations as they welcome the Year of the Dragon 14 meters above the Indian Ocean. The same evening will also see another gastronomic gala at Padi Restaurant, where a special buffet dinner will pamper the buds.
The climactic day—February 10, will be filled with festive treats for the senses. The pinnacle of the celebration will begin with a barong dance and a fireworks show that take place in the lobby of RIMBA at AYANA Bali. Following the performances, guests can visit Kampoeng Bali for a culinary feast highlighting traditional Chinese flavours. Prior to this, younger guests can also participate in a wide array of fun activities at the hotel’s Kids Club, as well as AYANA Resort Bali’s Kids Club.
The celebration does not end there. Throughout the month, guests can indulge in decadent spa treatments inspired by the holiday. Two luxury treatments, namely Orange Blossom Body Buff and Lunar Bliss, are perfect choices for an ultimate mind-and-body rejuvenation. The first highlights the therapeutic power of orange blossom — a symbol of health and fertility in Chinese culture. The latter, on the other hand, melds the benefits of Abhyanga massage and chakra sound healing, amped with the magic of gemstones and aromatherapy.
Of these offerings, AYANA Bali’s General Manager Giordano Faggioli states: “AYANA Bali has long been a chosen destination among thousands of Chinese visitors each year. This is why we place great significance on celebrating Chinese New Year.” Faggioli also wishes all the resort’s guests will enjoy the various special events and promotions in welcoming the Year of the Dragon.
Lastly, those wishing to spend their holiday at the iconic resort can take advantage of the Perfect Family Getaway package. Valid until March 31, 2024 for stays of at least three nights, the offer includes a 15-percent discount on room rates and complimentary daily breakfast—which can be enjoyed across all dining venues in AYANA Bali—for two adults and two children under nine. In addition, guests procuring the package are also for resort credit worth IDR 200,000 for RIMBA at AYANA, and IDR 300,000 for AYANA Segara, AYANA Resort, and The Villas at AYANA.
