Mitsubishi Motors Corporation recently unveiled its all-new XFORCE compact SUV in Indonesia at the 30th GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
The next-generation Mitsubishi XFORCE model is set to hit the streets of Indonesia first, with plans to roll out in other ASEAN nations like Vietnam and the Philippines, followed by South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

Diving deeper into its design, the XFORCE resonates with the ‘Silky & Solid’ concept. The exterior portrays a harmonious blend of elegance and strength, highlighted by the unique Dynamic Shield front face and the LED daytime running lights. These features don’t just add to the vehicle’s aesthetic but also enhance its recognisability from a distance. The interior follows suit, offering a best-in-class expansive and intuitive space equipped with Dual Zone Auto A/C and NanoeX filtration technology to ensure you are always in cool and clean air. The 12.3-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio and the 8-inch digital driver display are state-of-the-art additions, ensuring that drivers have all the information they need at their fingertips.

The adjustable floor of the cargo space and 40:20:40 split of the rear seats make it adaptable for different storage needs. A simple feet gesture seamlessly activates the intuitive tailgate sensors, allowing you to access the main storage trunk, thanks to the Hands-free Power Tailgate feature.

In a further nod to the convenience aspect, the head unit is equipped with a number of features, such as a steering alignment indicator and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), allowing you to confirm your straight steering wheel after parking and check your tires’ pressure without exiting the vehicle.
On the technical front, the XFORCE is equipped with a high-efficiency CVT and a proven 1.5L DOHC 16-valve MIVEC engine. The suspension, having undergone rigorous testing and tuning specific to ASEAN road conditions, ensures a smooth ride even on the roughest terrains. Additionally, with a ground clearance of 222mm and features like a minimum turning radius of 5.2m, navigating through tricky terrains and tight city turns becomes less of a challenge. The four drive modes, including the newly introduced ‘Wet mode’, provide versatility for a variety of road conditions, ensuring optimum performance and safety.
