Kick off Bangkok’s 26th International Festival of Dance and Music with an extraordinary performance of Marie Antoinette on Saturday, 7th September, at 7pm. Choreographed by Thierry Malandain and performed by Malandain Ballet Biarritz, this neoclassical ballet explores the complex life of one of history’s most famously controversial queens. The production juxtaposes politics and flirtation against the backdrop of the French Revolution, offering a profound exploration of Marie Antoinette’s psychology. The performance will be accompanied by the Opéra Royal Château de Versailles Orchestra, supported by the Embassy of France.

One Michelin-starred IGNIV Bangkok is celebrating autumn with a new menu featuring 18 handcrafted dishes that blend European and Thai flavours. The menu captures the essence of hearty root vegetables like truffle, white fungus, and brussel sprouts, complemented by locally sourced produce from Chiang Rai and Tak provinces, including mountain kombu, coffee blossom, and heart of palm.
