Cartier Women’s Initiative Unveils its 2024 Fellowship

Empowering women impact entrepreneurs, this year’s Women’s Initiative Awards ceremony will be held in Shenzhen, China
After seventeen years of empowering women entrepreneurs, the Cartier Women’s Initiative (CWI) has evolved into a powerful international entrepreneurship program that supports and uplifts women impact entrepreneurs and their businesses. And they’re certainly not slowing down, with 2024’s support set to be bigger than ever.
As a leadership program, the CWI has supported 330 women impact entrepreneurs from 66 countries. Since its creation, it’s awarded a total of almost US$10 million in grant funding to support fellows’ businesses and has grown its number of annual fellows from 5 in 2007 to 33 in 2024. So far, the program has established a strong network of over 700 community members, playing a crucial role in supporting its fellows’ business growth.
The CWI will honouring and awarding its 33 fellows selected for this year’s edition at the 2024 Women’s Initiative Awards ceremony will be held in Shenzhen, China.
The fellows are recognised for their achievements and meaningful solutions to pressing global challenges, with this year’s Cartier Women’s Initiative recognising female entrepreneurs from Peru, Morocco and Vietnam for the first time this year.
Specifically in East Asia, two Chinese fellows will take home the Awards alongside one from South Korea, each making significant impact in their respective areas. The awards will go to Emily Yu from Ginger Ah, who designs, produces and sells intimate apparel specially tailored for breast cancer patients, Xintong Du from VoiceChanger, who provides online and in-person therapeutic and rehabilitative services for speech-impaired children, and Jiwon Park who launched the sexual wellness brand SAIB
The first place, second place and third place awardees will announced at the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards Ceremony on 22 May in Shenzhen, China.
