Global megastar and K-Pop icon Lisa of BLACKPINK has been announced as the newest house ambassador for Louis Vuitton. Here’s what you need to know about her new appointment.
Baby, she’s a rockstar. Following months of speculation, Lisa – born Lalisa Manobal – has been announced as the newest house ambassador for Louis Vuitton. It’s been a long time coming ever since the Blackpink rapper and main dancer was spotted at Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2024 show in Paris, and also seen sporting Louis Vuitton pieces in her recent Instagram posts. She even teased at the partnership late in June through the lyrics of her single “Rockstar” where she raps, “Tight dress, LV sent it, oh sh*t, Lisa reppin’.'”
Says Lisa of the partnership, “I feel so honoured to be working with such a great brand that admire. So, I’m really looking looking forward to making greater moments with Louis Vuitton.”
The announcement was made alongside an interview video and a series of images of the rapper-singer in her signature straight bangs and pieces from Louis Vuitton.
”I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a House Ambassador. She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey,” says Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections.
Lisa’s appointment comes just a few weeks ahead of Ghesquière’s 10th anniversary Fall/Winter collection launch on 2 August and we’re certain that Lisa will be seen in pieces from it in no time at all. We can’t wait to see what this new partnership between Louis Vuitton and Lisa will bring.
